La reconocida editorial chilena Muñeca de Trapo ha sido seleccionada como finalista para obtener el destacado Premio BOP (Bologna Prize for the Best Children's Publishers of the Year), que reconoce anualmente a las mejores editoriales infantiles del mundo. Esta nominación es un testimonio del compromiso de Muñeca de Trapo con la excelencia editorial y su contribución significativa al mundo de la literatura infantil.
El Premio BOP, presentado en el marco de la Feria del Libro Infantil de Bolonia (desde el 8 al 11 de abril, Italia), es el galardón más respetado en la industria del libro infantil, que celebra la labor sobresaliente de las editoriales en la creación y promoción de obras para niños y jóvenes. La inclusión de Muñeca de Trapo en la lista de nominados ha permitido que editores y editoras de todo el mundo valoren el catálogo de la editorial por su calidad literaria, la diversidad cultural y el respeto por los derechos de la niñez.
Obras como “Sueño animal”, “Un nuevo barrio” e “Inseparables” han contribuido al crecimiento y vitalidad del sector editorial infantil en Chile y fuera de sus fronteras, posicionando libros en países tan distintos como Estados Unidos, Portugal, Corea del Sur y China, entre otros de América Latina y Europa.

Este año la editorial Muñeca de Trapo estará presente en la Feria Internacional del Libro de Bolonia con un stand dedicado exclusivamente a mostrar su amplio catálogo de libros infantiles. Allí su directora Macarena Morales Findel dará a conocer las novedades y libros premiados, ocasión que además servirá para reunirse con profesionales del sector, discutir oportunidades de colaboración y compartir ideas innovadoras para el futuro de la literatura infantil.
